I am pleased to write a few words about how my journey to the Lord began just a couple of years ago, how it lead me to the Christian faith, and how, God willing, I hope to do the Lord's work in any future that the Lord chooses to bless me with through His grace.
To briefly mention my past, I did not grow up in a religious family. In fact, I don't recall a single day when my family went to church. However, my mother always lived her life totally dependent on faith and she prayed to God very often. Whenever the many great trials came along, as they do for all of us, she always turned to prayer, and then waited for the Lord¡¦s help to come. And miraculously it did, although sometimes we did not realize it until later.
Soon after my university graduation, I left America in 1969 for Vietnam and my first real corporate job. I have stayed in the Far East since that time, and have lived in Hong Kong since 1974.
Over the years the blessings have been great and many, like my family, and more recently, so have the trials! In the past, I always relied basically on myself to get through life and the Lord blessed me often, even during times when I was not really grateful or appreciative. It seemed the world of business took me far away from things spiritual and kept all my attention on to the things of this world
In the early 1990's, a series of events began in my life that severely tested my being to the core and it seemed I had nowhere to turn where I could find relief for my troubled spirit and my soul. But on a sunny Sunday in November 1998, while I was working at home and facing a mountain of trails and problems, our helper gave me a ticket to attend the El Shaddai Prayer Partners Anniversary at Hong Kong Stadium. For some reason I decided to drop all the work and go to the rally.
Soon I found myself in the stadium, filled with over 35,000 helpers. Needless to say, I felt quite out of place! But before I could turn around to leave, a sister of El Shaddai quickly said, "Welcome brother" and led me to an area near the front. That was it. I was frozen there for the day.
By the time the day was over, I was touched by the power of the Holy Spirit in a way that I was not touched before. I saw how the power of prayer and the power of great faith, combined with preaching the word of God with praise and worship music, work in the lives of people to bring great joy even in times of great hardship. To my surprise, what had the greatest impact on me that day was the joyful praise and worship music. Listening to the amazing lyrics for the first time, plus feeling the heart and soul put into the singing by all, gave me a great feeling of happiness and well being.
Since then I have committed to give my life to the Lord, although failingly I often return like the prodigal son, and I find true joy when feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit in my heart. I rely on the word and grace of God to show me the way now and I try not to get too dragged down by the things of this world, which are only temporary anyway.
After that amazing Sunday with El Shaddai, I have endeavoured to continue daily on the narrow path to Jesus Christ. I was very blessed to be baptised in December 2001. I also completed the great seminar offered by the
Evangelization Family, and blessed by "Promising", as a Legionaire of the wonderful Legion of Mary.
My personal goal is to make the Worship Music Society something that can be useful in reaching out to join hands and touch hearts of all people, and to bring the message of love to peoples of all faith, nationalities, races and creeds.
Radio is a powerful medium by which musical spirituality can be delivered to believers and non-believers a like, reaching out with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Worship Music Society pleased to announce:

After two years of experience and broadcast exposure, the program has developed a very large and varied base of loyal and avid listeners. This attests to the power of radio as an ideal communication medium for music ministries, combining the Word of God, with song and praise. It is encouraging to note that callers into the program span a broad range of religions, communities, fellowships, and nationalities. After two years, this represents a firm foundation, and we pray to the Lord for His blessings so that it may continue to yield a rich harvest.
